HAPPENINGS ABOUT TOWN

The winter is on the downside and we can soon look forward to more spring like weather.  Flooding has been talked about much in the newspapers and on radio.  We aren't plagued by water the way the Winnipeg to Fargo corridor is.

We had a wonderful crowd at our brunch this past weekend.  It is great to see how people from all around the area come to enjoy the food and atmosphere.

As I stated in the "Crow's Nest", the Edinburg Quick Response is in dire need of volunteers.  Let Randy Johansen know if you are able to help out in some capacity.

Edinburg always is a great place to live!!!!

 Edinburg 2009

The August 2nd event (August the Deuce as it is called in this area) in Mountain is over for another year, but planning for next year is always close in thoughts. They always seem to have a very successful event.

Lloyd Gire purchased a new combine from Orlin Nelson.  They are pictured here along with Gerald Dean Johnson.

Thomas Hall was our official "carver".  He even willingly put on this chef's hat so I could take his picture!  Thanks TJ.

A new sign was erected before the 125th as Edinburg being the home of Scott Guldseth, North Dakota's Mr Basketball in 1988.
